"Tsitsinatela"

111Junior newspaper “Tsitsinatela” arranges action “Children against informational war”. The purpose of the action is to show to the world community patriotic feelings of children and national consciousness in the conditions of information war. The action will promote education of feeling of compassion at young generation to people and the rejection of cruelty and violence. With cheerful drawings and plots children will tell adults that they did not resort to wars and violence. Children, especially those who have constrainedly appeared witnesses of war, always wanted to paint the world.

The newspaper "Tsitsinatela" and Gelati Academy of Sciences announce competition of children's drawings “I do not wish to be a victim of war!”

Children can take part in competition aged till 14 years. It’s necessary to specify a surname, a name of the author of drawing and his age. School and class number has to be mentioned in which the child studies and a name of the drawing.

The competition will be held in two stages:

  1. From the drawings placed on our site, 10 best works will be selected. Selection process will last till January, 2010. The winner will be revealed by your estimations. We ask you to write to us what of the works placed on the site, deserves 5 points.
  2. Works of winners will be placed at an exhibition-exposition, which will take place in the Youth Centre of the Sacred Trinity Cathedral, in Tbilisi, on January, 20-25th, 2010.
  3. The winner will be awarded by a medal of “Gelati – 2010”.
